For over six decades, the Cape Orchid Society (COS) has been cultivating a rich tradition of celebrating the allure and mystique of orchids.
Founded in 1957, it stands as the oldest orchid group in South Africa and holds the distinction of being a founding member of the South African Orchid Council.
The core mission of the Cape Orchid Society is to unite individuals with a fascination for orchids. It serves as a platform to promote and encourage the culture and conservation of these exotic flowers while offering a space for education and a base for all other orchid-related activities.
Every year, one of the highlights on the COS calendar is the Spring Show and the 2023 edition promises to be an extraordinary spectacle for all flower enthusiasts.
The 2023 Spring Show will be held in the Richard Crowie Hall at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. It spans two days, from 28 to 29 of October.
