The Labia Theatre
The Labia Movie Theatre on Orange Street is Cape Town’s original independent art movie house and consists of four screens: a 176-seater, a 100-seater, a 65-seater, and an intimate 50-seater. While the facility does not run live theatre performances, as the oldest independent art-repertory cinema in South Africa, this iconic gem shows the best of circuit, independent movies, foreign films, documentaries, classics and other alternative and art-circuit films at affordable prices.
