In a wonderfully South African film, a young boy who lives in the city with his mom is sent to spend the holidays with his grandmother on her farm in KZN.
The unfamiliar environment shocks him but teaches him much about his heritage and his family’s traditions.

A California Christmas is set in a hot part of the United States, with Christmas weather that feels South African.
Joseph Van Aston, the son of a wealthy San Francisco real estate agent, is careless with women and money. On a trip to close a deal on a dairy farm, Joseph meets farm-woman Callie whose farm is more valuable to her than money.
As Christmas approaches, Joseph connects with Callie as he continues to try close the deal, but he’s not who she thinks he is.
