Looking for some family fun this Easter weekend? Head on over to the V&A Waterfront and indulge in a wide range of exciting activities that are sure to keep everyone entertained.
All activities will take place around the Amphitheatre on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 April 2023 from 10am.
From an Easter-themed Amazing Race to the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and an egg-citing talent show, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

If you’re feeling competitive, get involved in the V&A Easter Hunt Amazing Race over at HintHunt. The race is free for participants and takes place from 12pm to 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday, starting at the Amphitheatre.
The fastest team at the end of each race will win a V&A Waterfront hamper.

The V&A Kids Market is also back, and it’s the perfect platform for kids to showcase their creative skills. On Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 3pm, come and support these young entrepreneurs as they learn how to run a profitable venture while having loads of fun doing it.
Kids can also have some fun getting their faces painted with Easter-inspired themes by any of the three face painters located at the kids’ area opposite the Amphitheatre on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. It’s free for kids under the age of 12.

For those looking to meet and take a photo with the friendly Easter Bunny, head on over to Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre between 12pm and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Are you a talented magician, musician, or any other entertaining force in between? Come and showcase your talent at the Easter auditions on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday at the Amphitheatre between 12pm and 4pm.

Successful performers will gain access to the V&A Waterfront’s mentorship programme.
Looking for a baking adventure? Join the Charming Chef for some story time as little chefs learn to make yummy treats in the Enchanted Kitchen at Makers Landing.
Young bakers will make chocolate cupcakes filled with surprises and frosted with decadent chocolate frosting. Classes take place on Saturday and Sunday at 11am. Tickets cost R195 per child and can be purchased via Quicket.
Lastly, enjoy a ride on the newly located Cape Wheel at the V&A Waterfront’s Breakwater Boulevard. The wheel offers the same exhilarating experience but now boasts even better views. For more information, visit http://capewheel.co.za/.
