14 May: Armageddon
Armageddon is a 1998 American science-fiction film directed by Michael Bay and starring an ensemble cast consisting of Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, Liv Tyler and Ben Affleck, to name but a few.
The film follows a group of blue-collar deep-core drillers sent by NASA to stop a gigantic asteroid on a collision course with Earth. To make this happen, renowned driller Harry Stamper agrees to helm the dangerous space mission provided he can bring along his own hotshot crew.
Among them is the cocksure A.J., whom Harry thinks isn’t good enough for his daughter, until the mission proves otherwise.

15 May: The Matrix
The Matrix is a 1999 science fiction action film written and directed by the Wachowskis, and is the first instalment in the Matrix film series starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving and Joe Pantoliano.
The film depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside the Matrix, a simulated reality that intelligent machines have created to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source. A beautiful stranger leads computer hacker Neo to a forbidding underworld, he discovers the shocking truth – the life he knows is the elaborate deception of an evil cyber-intelligence.

16 May: The Notebook
The Notebook is a romantic drama film based on the 1996 novel of the same name.
The film stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as a young couple who fall in love in the 1940s. Their story is read from a notebook in the present day by an elderly man (James Garner), telling the tale to a fellow nursing home resident (Gena Rowlands).

17 May: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (final show of the season!)
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is a 2018 jukebox musical romantic comedy film. It is the sequel to the 2008 film Mamma Mia!, which was based on the 1999 musical of the same name, featuring musical numbers by the timeless songs of ABBA.
The plot is set after the events of the previous film and is interspersed with flashbacks to Donna’s childhood in 1979, with some scenes from both periods mirroring each other.
The cast includes Dominic Cooper, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Andy Garcia, Meryl Streep and Cher.
