Festive film extravaganza

Celebrate Christmas Eve and Day with special shows
Attend the special Christmas-themed shows to make your Christmas Eve and Day a truly ‘auspicious occasion’ as they say. The Polar Express will screen on Tuesday, 24 December and Home Alone 2 will screen on Wednesday, 25 December.
For only R285 per person, your movie ticket includes free goodies, including a sweet treat, popcorn, a Christmas hat and an abundance of festive fun (book now to avoid disappointment, as these previous seasons prove these shows sell out quickly).
End the school year with a roaring experience!
Kick off the holiday season with an outdoor screening of Madagascar at the enchanting Kirstenbosch Garden on Wednesday, 11 December.
As schools close, treat the little ones to a fun-filled evening of laughter and adventure alongside Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra and King Julien, the hilarious and eccentric lemur.
Bring the kids along, enjoy a picnic or treat yourselves to wraps, nachos, pizza or burgers. There are tons of family-friendly movies in The Galileo end-of-year holidays line-up.
Discover new and beloved venues
This December, The Galileo Open Air Cinema will bring splendour to some of the Cape’s most picturesque wine farms.
Explore Asara Wine Estate in the heart of Stellenbosch, one of The Galileo’s new Winelands venues featuring spacious green lawns, exquisite art and a luxurious hotel and estate.
For those familiar who have already experienced the Winelands movie experience, why not relive the moment at beloved wine farms such as Blaauwklippen, Lourensford and Glenelly Estate, where award-winning wines are paired with film faves, blockbusters and more?
