Founded in 2015, the Absa Cape Town 12k city run is the country’s most loved run and has established itself as a ‘proudly South African, proudly Cape Town’ must-do mass participation road running event that celebrates everything Cape Town – the vibe, the city and the people!
The 12km point to point route is fast and flat, and it highlights iconic landmarks while boasting magnificent views and featuring live performances from some of Cape Town’s leading performing arts groups.
The morning starts with a convenient bus trip from Cape Town’s CBD to the start in Milnerton. The route follows the coastline running in the direction of the majestic Table Mountain before finishing in the heart of Cape Town’s cosmopolitan Long Street.
All entrants, irrespective of their running pedigree, are invited to experience the alluring ambience of the Mother City!
