First initiated in 1983 as the Knysna Winter Festival, the exciting Knysna Oyster Festival is a family-friendly feast of food, sports and cultural activities. It presents plenty of entertainment, fun and, of course, oysters!

Knysna Forest Marathon
The Knysna Forest Marathon and Half Marathon will take the lead on 22 June. Expect an unparalleled and memorable running experience amid the Knysna Forest’s stunning landscapes.
Oyster Festival Street Tournament
On 26 June, the Street Soccer Tournament presents pulse-pounding action and entertainment. The sporting activity is aimed at community participation and soccer development.
Simola Sunset Wine Run
The Simola Sunset Wine Run is where the love of wine and the passion for fitness collide. Join wine enthusiasts and fitness fanatics on 27 June at the Simola Golf Course for an unusual celebration of fun and fitness.
Apart from sporting activities, there are also a number of other interesting things to enjoy. These include leathercraft workshops, gin tastings, comedy shows, cooking competitions, the spice route tasting and so much more.
