1. A Heritage Day Braai at the 12 Apostles, Camps Bay

3. Wine and dine at Lanzerac’s Manor Kitchen, Stellenbosch

4. Braai day at Skye rooftop bar, Sea Point

5. Heritage Day high tea at the Cellars Hohenort, Constantia
- Time: 11am to 12pm or 3pm to 5pm
- Cost: R315 per person
- Details: Think everything braai and biltong to Cape Malay vetkoek and Hertzoggies.

6. Heritage Day sunset groove at Latitude Cafe, Sea Point
- Time: From 12pm
- Cost: R200 which includes a welcome drink
- The details: Indulge in delicious Jack Daniels cocktails and braai boards while grooving to trendy tunes with some of Cape Town’s premiere djs on a smashing lineup.

7. Boschendal night market, Franschhoek
- Time: 5.30pm to 8.30pm
- Cost: Free
- The details: Bring the family, and pets to enjoy live music, fresh farm produce, food stalls and artisanal stands filled with handmade local products.

8. Live entertainment and braai platters at Constantia Glen, Constantia
- Time: 10am to 8pm
- Cost: R360 shared platter for two
- The details: Celebrate Heritage Day with live music and a delectable braai platter which includes a selection of braai faves such as pap poppers, spit braai, chakalaka etc.

9. Savour a taste of South African Heritage at Spier, Stellenbosch
- Time: last tasting is at 4pm daily.

1. Heritage Day fun at Stonehaven Eco Farm, Langebaan
- Time: 9.30am to 4.30pm
- Cost: R30
- The details: Enjoy a day of fun in the sun at Stonehaven Eco Farm, we have loads of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Bring and braai while your kids enjoy a wonderful play with a water slide, boat rides, pirate ship, jungle gyms, edutainment, and much more.

2. Outdoor Music Festival, Greyton
- Time: 10am
- The details: an outdoor music festival on the old historical Church square. Enjoy classical and instrumental music in an inspiring atmosphere.
3. Fourth Annual Heritage Day Festival, Manenberg
- Time: 2pm until late
- Cost: Free
- The details: a day filled with good vibes, bringing community together all over the Cape Flats to celebrate the diversity of our heritage.

4. Open Streets Cycle, Cape Town
- Time: 8am to finish

- The details: an invitation to connect with friends and partners in different communities, with a little peddling along the way.

For the art-lovers.
1. Lockdown Recipe Storytelling Book (LRSB) Food Festival, Rivendell Wine Estate, Bot River
- Time: 9am t0 4pm.
- Cost: R60 excluding booking fee.

2. Visit Kirstenbosch Gardens for an AI experience, Newlands
- Time: 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Cost: R40 garden entrance fee for adults.
- The details: The groundbreaking exhibition offers locals and tourists alike an opportunity to experience the known-and-loved gardens in a completely new way, through virtual reality. Visitors will need to download the system app before arrival.

3. Art UNLOCKED, Riebeek Valley

- The details: A group of 30 plus full-time and part-time artists will be opening their studios, homes and shared spaces in the Riebeek Valley to showcase their work to art lovers and general public.
