And by ‘time’ we mean the Time Out Market Cape Town, of course.

Set to open to the public tomorrow, 17 November, Time Out Market Cape Town offers a carefully curated 13 homegrown kitchens, three bars and one stage to bring together the ultimate snapshot of best in the Mother City’s food, wine and culture scene, all under one roof.

In the spirit of ‘the more, the merrier’, the harbour’s original pumphouse and power station-turned food market space is set to host approximately 750 guests in total, with indoor seating and quayside tables overlooking the iconic backdrop of Table Mountain and the Alfred Basin.

Beyond the city’s top chefs and much-loved restaurateurs, Time Out Market Cape Town will also boast a curated beverage programme including local wines, beers, cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks across its three bars – keeping with its mission to bring the best of the city together under on roof.
With Cape Town’s cultural scene being as vibrant as its cuisine, the market will showcase art and installations from Cape Town-based Zabalaza Art Faktory and Alfa (with more installations in the works), as well as cultural activations from Capetonian and South African local talent.
And, of course, marketgoers can expect events all year round, including jazz evenings, comedy evenings and DJs, with more to come.

Renowned for its global successes, Time Out Market’s concept aims to celebrate food, drinks and the proverbial melting pot that is Cape Town’s vibrant culture and restaurant scene in a casual food-hall setting.
