Back for its tenth season, the series got underway on 4 February.
Nearly all competitors are from the Western Cape, and their loyal fans, nicknamed ‘The Killarney Family’, are sure to be cheering on their favourites.
Killarney Racecourse, located in Milnerton, has been synonymous with the South African motorsport industry since the first race was held there in 1947. Over the last 76 years, the course has grown in size and glory, and the current facility offers a race track nearly four times the size of the original one.
The programme features races for modified saloon cars, classics, sports & GT cars and single-seater Formula Libre racing cars. Three categories of motorcycles, from 300cc Supersport machines to 150kW litre-class superbikes, will also be vying for the top spot on the podium.
