The comedic maestro, known for his charming wit, infectious humour and impeccable timing, is set to perform on Friday, 13 September 2024, at GrandWest Arena in Cape Town and Thursday, 12 September, at the Sunbet Arena at Times Square in Pretoria.
Returning to stand-up for the first time in five years, McIntyre delves into the whirlwind of events from the past half-decade, ‘making mirth from the madness of it all’ and extracting humour from the chaos of everyday life in his latest Magnificent world tour.

Having broken box office records across the globe, Michael McIntyre remains one of the top-selling comedy tours in South Africa, with his previous tours having sold more than four million tickets worldwide. In addition to stand-up comedy, he has also featured in three episodes of Live at the Apollo and was a judge on Britain’s Got Talent in 2011.
Beyond the stage, the BAFTA-winning legend is popular for hosting two of the BBC’s most successful entertainment shows, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and The Wheel, which he also devised and hosts for NBC in America.
Suffice it to say, the South African leg of his return to stand-up is a comedic event not to be missed.
