Fairview

Fairview farm is passionate about fine wine and cheese, so you can be assured that there will be something tasty to snack on here. Besides their usual wine and cheese pairings, they also have a cheese-only tasting that consists of a selection of six Fairvew cow and goat’s milk cheeses.
An added bonus to a visit at Fairview farm is a stop by the Goat Tower: a small stone structure where you can watch and admire Fairview’s furry and horned mascots.

Kloovenburg

The olive groves and vineyards of Kloovenburg herald the entrance to the picturesque Riebeek Valley. The first olive trees were planted in 1989 to create job opportunities for the seasonal workers during the months between the grape harvest and the pruning of the vineyards. Olive trees take about three years to establish, bearing small volumes of fruit from the fourth year and reaching its full capacity at the age of seven years. Kloovenburg has 23 ha of olive groves.
Kloovenburg provides an experience in which customers can sample fresh olive oil, and taste their wide variety of olives, dips and salts.

Spice Route Destination

Sit down for a sweet experience of a chocolate tasting at Spice Route Destination in Paarl. De Villiers Chocolate offers four chocolate tasting options: Milk Chocolate tasting, Dark Chocolate tasting, Nut Butter Chocolate Tasting, and a No-Added-Sugar Tasting.

Van Loveren Family Vineyard

Known as one of South Africa’s leading family-owned wineries, Van Loveren Family Vineyard has been in the Retief family since 1937. This winery is popular for their consistency, award-winning wines as well as innovation, not to mention their inclusivity of non-drinkers.
They have two tastings that are advertised as alcohol free. Their Absolute Zero Sparkling Pairing contains 0% alcohol and is also low in kilojoules. The pairing consists of their Absolute Zero Dry Spakling tasted with a chocolate orange Turkish delight, and their Absolute Zero Nectar Sparkling paired with a lime macaroon.
They also offer an Almost Zero De-Alcoholised Wine Pairing that contains less than 0.4% alcohol. Sip their Wonderful White, Ravishing Rosé, and Radiant Red, while snacking on lime, cherry and chocolate macaroons.
