Calling all petrol-heads, modified car enthusiasts and vibe chasers: ‘Only The Fittest’ (OTF) is making a grand return to Cape Town’s motor scene after a six-year hiatus with its biggest automotive exhibition yet!
Taking over the ground floor of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Only The Fittest24 plans to unite all genres of the automotive industry with a massive showcase of some of the country’s best stance, race, drift, spinning and sound vehicles under one roof.
The exhibition marks the tenth edition of CapeStance’s OTF, inviting the public to marvel through its display of approximately 200 vehicles ranging from classic, custom and modern cars and motorbikes – all vying for the top spot in their respective aesthetic-appeal categories in CapeStance’s annual awards.
Among the line-up of vehicles is Tariq ‘Chip’ Moosa’s international show-winning car from Johannesburg’s Chicano’s Customs and, of course, CapeStance founder Tauriq Ajam’s much-loved blue bagged 1975 Mercedes Benz.
For the little ones, there will be a designated kids’ area complete with soft-play activities, drawings and other entertainment to keep them busy while the adults indulge in live entertainment, on-site food options and an array of exclusive giveaways, including:
- R30 000 worth of Car Care products from Turtlewax
- A full set of tyres from Jaxon Tyres
- Accessories from The Bully Brothers SA
- A Waterfront Big Wheel VIP experience from Landmark Attractions
- A drifting driving experience
- A full detail by CapeStance Car Wash
- A one-week holiday at Club Mykonos during its off-peak season from Capestance
And for the motorheads, there will be exhibition booths, sponsored pop-ups and build interviews galore throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, with the prize-giving taking place on Sunday afternoon.
Mixing business with passion in its mission to rival international automotive industries, Only The Fittest24 will also be bringing together big-name automotive sponsors, such as TurtleWax, Racing Hart Concepts and Jaxon Tyres.
This means that beyond CapeStance branded t-shirts and stickers, OTF24 goers will be able to get their hands on sponsored merchandise as well as a chance for smaller automotive brands to do some networking.
So, grab your friends, family and the kids, too, as there will be something for everyone to enjoy while celebrating the untapped potential of South Africa’s automotive industry.
