In a thriving outdoor fitness scene, there is a wide range of fitness classes and activities available throughout the city. From boot camps and trail runs to yoga and parkour, there’s something for everyone.
1. Parkrun
Parkrun is a free weekly 5km running event that takes place in various locations throughout Cape Town. The event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels, and is designed to promote health, fitness, and community engagement.
Participation in Parkrun is completely free, but participants have to register on the Parkrun website. The events are volunteer-run and designed to be accessible to all.

Cape Town Swing offers swing dance classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about swing dancing, offering classes in various swing dance styles.
They are also involved in promoting swing dancing in the community through various initiatives, including school programs, workshops, and performances.
