Cape Town is full of notable gems, and there is plenty more to it beyond the vast wineries and pristine beaches.
One of the features that make Cape Town’s cityscape stand out is its iconic peak, Lion’s Head.
Lion’s Head is a natural institution, although it usually plays second fiddle to Table Mountain.
This is a tribute to the Lion, that beloved figure of Cape Town that doesn’t need much of an introduction.

The hiking trail
This picturesque backdrop is worth eyeballing over and over again, and the almost two-hour hiking trail will reward you with panoramic views of Table Bay.
Indeed, this is a sort of “two birds, one stone” deal. Sunsets and sunrises are local and visitors’ favourites.
