Parents of pooches can treat their pups to Cape Town’s first-of-its-kind doggy high tea at The President Hotel in Bantry Bay.
On Saturday 8 October 2022, four-legged friends are invited to enjoy a locally inspired pup-friendly afternoon tea featuring carrot pupcakes, meatloaf, pawtato fritters and a selection of sweet and savoury treats.
Even though the afternoon is tailored to the canine clientele, the accompanying humans will be pleased to know that they too can be treated to tiers of sweets and savouries including Moroccan quiche, bao, eclairs, macarons and other delicious bites and a variety of teas.
The beauty of The President Hotel’s location is that you can have a stroll on the promenade just 50 metres away, to walk off all the mouth-watering munchies.
To make the experience even more special, pups and parents can stay over at the pet-friendly hotel from R1795 per room per night and make a weekend of it. Your beloved pooch will feel at home with the comfy doggy beds, bowls, and pet-friendly menu.
