Female entrepreneurs and startups are the reason behind #WomenInspired, and it creates a pure sense of empowerment. Steenberg Farm, situated in the heart of the Constantia Wine Valley is dedicated to celebrating Women’s Month.
The women-led Steenberg management team are generously paying towards supporting The Clothing Bank, an NPO empowering unemployed women to become independent business owners. The Clothing Bank team are women who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and by supporting and nurturing them, they are taught the skills and confidence needed to break out of poverty to be financially and socially independent.
For this Women’s Month, Steenberg will be donating a portion of selected wine sales and restaurant orders to support The Clothing Bank. Guests are welcome to contribute by purchasing or ordering #EmpowermentInspired items.

Every Steenberg Flagship wine purchased will donate a R10 towards the NPO’s upliftment work, orders of selected food items at Bistro Sixteen82 and Tryn restaurant will contribute between R10 and R20.

A total of 30 local women-led businesses have been invited to Steenberg Manor House to sell their creations that include clothing, jewellery, stationery, home decor and accessories on Friday, August 27 from 10am – 6pm.
Come and spend the day browsing and lazing on the lawn with friends and family while sipping crisp, fine Steenberg wine and indulge in delicious treats from Tryn.
