Great news for nature enthusiasts visiting Table Mountain National Park! Starting on 1 April 2023, two of the park’s entry points, Cape Point and Boulders Penguin Colony, will be cash-free.

This move is part of a South African National Parks (SANParks) initiative, which began earlier this year, to go completely cashless.
What this means is that you’ll no longer need to worry about bringing cash to pay for your conservation or entry fees at these two gates. Instead, SANParks has made it easier and safer for you to pay with either a debit or credit card. Visitors also have the option of purchasing tickets online.
This cash-free initiative not only simplifies the payment process but also promotes a more eco-friendly approach to park management.
So, when you’re planning your next visit to Table Mountain National Park, make sure you have your credit or debit card ready, or simply purchase your tickets online ahead of time.
Enjoy the beauty of the park without the hassle of carrying cash.
Tickets are available on the website: SANParks.
