It is the first of its kind in South Africa to promote and showcase music, dance, and lifestyle of Amapiano.
Love it or hate it but Amapiano is one sound that that has taken over dance floors countrywide.
And for good reason – it combines many genres house music, gqom, kwaito, Afro beats…
It is after all the local beat that carried many of us through the lockdown period.
The impact of the beat has had international artists and local artists from other genres make hit song or two to this beat straight from kasi.
Amapiano Fest that is to be held at The Ostrich here in Cape Town with a heavy line-up of popular Amapiano artists and DJs . However, the names will be announced end of March.
