The enchanting marquee lawn at Kirstenbosch Garden undergoes a ghoulish transformation, the stage set for an unforgettable evening of frightful festivities.
On 31 October, brace yourself for the blood-curdling screening of The Shining, a chilling 80’s psychological masterpiece that will drag you into the blood-red hallway of a haunted hotel.
The movie will begin after sunset, engulfing you in a world of classic horror as you snuggle under the stars. The Shining is not suitable for the little ones, as its dark and disturbing themes promise an unforgettable night of hair-raising horror for a quality Halloween experience, complete with eerie decor and costumed entertainers.
Fear not, as the Kids’ Halloween screening is unveiled
On 1 November, a spooktacular Kids Halloween Show at Central Park, Century City, will cast a spell of family-friendly thrills with a screening of the PG-rated movie Hotel Transylvania.
Join Count Dracula and his monstrous guests in this heartwarming, humour-filled animated adventure, perfectly suited for all ages.
Prepare for an evening of enchantment and chills as the movie unfolds under the cloak of night, following a playful, spooky experience filled with trick-or-treating and free face painting for the little ones.
Fright night delights
Pack a picnic or buy food and drinks from mini-market vendors (at the Kirstenbosch Garden Adult screening) or the Central Park Clubhouse (at the Central Park Kids screening) upon arrival.
