Hosted by the Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch and proudly sponsored by Pick n Pay, Carols at Kirstenbosch 2022 will usher in the holiday season with your favourite singalongs, delectable food and the stunning sight of thousands of digital glowsticks lighting up the evening sky.
Due to import logistics, the normal glowstick will not be distributed this year. Instead, guests can use the torches on their cellphones to create the magical ambience that Carols at Kirstenbosch is known for.
Pack your own picnic and come enjoy this festive event. Pick n Pay, as always, promises to make your entire experience as easy and enjoyable as possible, and will take care of everything! Pre-order a perfect picnic for two, comprising a sumptuous selection that will be ready for you when you arrive at the event – what could be easier?
The carols will be led by a small band and choir. You will receive a link to the song sheet after purchasing your ticket, so you can join in on the singing!
Your participation in this event enables Rotary International to support a variety of community-based initiatives throughout the Western Cape, such as youth leadership development, civic engagement, and various health initiatives, particularly those centred on cancer awareness.
These are in addition to programmes devoted to feeding programmes, literacy and numeracy development, young child care, assistance for the elderly, water conservation and sanitation awareness.

- All Kirstenbosch events take place irrespective of rain. Regret no refunds are issued.
- Children under 6 years do not require a concert ticket.
- Kirstenbosch carols are completely non-smoking events. There are no designated smoking areas.
- Wine will not be available for purchase at the event, but visitors are welcome to bring their own.
