Passengers at Cape Town International Airport can breathe a sigh of relief, as the water supply has been fully restored after a temporary disruption caused by necessary municipal repair work.
The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) confirmed on Monday morning that the issue, which surfaced on Sunday, had been resolved, allowing for the seamless continuation of airport operations.
On Sunday, as travellers passed through the busy airport, they were informed of the water supply interruption affecting various amenities and services in the terminal.
The disruption was attributed to ongoing repairs taking place outside the airport precinct, in an effort by municipal authorities to enhance infrastructure.
