The creators of the popular Netflix series Blood & Water are bringing yet again another nail-biting thriller series Unseen shot here in Cape Town.

The first season is set to be released on Wednesday, 29 March 2023, with SA actress Gail Mabalane taking the lead actress role.
If you are a fan of their previous work, Blood & Water writers Travis Taute and Daryne Joshua, then you will remember Mabalane for her outstanding performance as Thandeka Khumalo in Blood & Water.
In Unseen, Mabalane is the maid hiding in plain sight and is the main character in the six-episode thriller named Zenzi Mwale. The helper will take you through her journey as a wife in a quest to find her husband, Maxwell Mwale, real name Vuyo Dabulawho who disappears after his release from prison.
Along the way, she encounters corrupt officials and gangsters and she becomes the danger that lurks in plain sight.
The thought-provoking series will show insights and dynamics of the township and the affluent suburbs and one of its main highlights is the famous local cast that includes Shimmy Isaacs, Brendon Daniels, Abduragman Adams, Hein De Vries, Ilse Klink, Mothusi Magano, Waldermar Schultz, Dineo Langa, Abduragman Adams, Rapulane Seiphmo, Colin Moss, Shamilla Ismail Miller, Clifford Young, and Lehasa Moloi.
