What you can expect at Comic Con Cape Town
Headlining this year’s event are some distinguished guests whose contributions to film, television and animation have captivated audiences worldwide, including Veronica Taylor (The voice of Pokémon‘s Ash), Lesley-Ann Brandt (Mazikeen on the TV series Lucifer), Sean Gunn (Kraglin from Guardians of the Galaxy) and local cast members from the live-action Netflix One Piece adaptation.

Beyond the mainstage, pop culture content zone, autograph and photo opportunities and other exciting activations, Comic Con Cape Town is bringing a massive pop culture shopping experience across the first level, where weebs can snatch merch and geek-centric items from their favourite brands and peruse the Artist Alley – a section dedicated to art.

If you can make it past the merch, an array of tabletop tournaments featuring the likes of D&D, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! awaits, as well as learn-to-play sessions and other fun experiences. A gamers paradise can be found on the second level of the festival where VR gaming, esport tournaments, free-to-play zones and other gaming experiences will keep you entertained for hours-on-end.

There’s fun for the whole family on the second level, where KidsCon will keep your little ones occupied with a plethora of activities and an unparalleled toy shopping experience.
