This is the result of the recent collaboration created by Roku Japanese Gin and Clay Hands.
Both organisations centred on Japanese practises created G&T in ceramic cups while sipping on freshly crafted Roku Japanese Gin cocktails.
Here’s a look at the collaboration between creatively crafted cocktails and art:
Clay Hands:
Clay Hands is located in a happy and tranquil sanctuary in the bustling Woodstock suburb of Cape Town.
Stepping into the courtyard of the building brings you hints of Italian splendour and the gracious hosts greet you with a warmth that immediately translates to Japanese Zen.
“This is truly what pottery is all about,” said a third-generation potter, Natasha Human. Human learned the art of the trade from her grandmother.
It is a space for creative souls to recharge, connect and create. Novices and expert potters are invited to join in-person workshops.
Weekly classes for people with established clay skills or once-off sessions are on offer, so get your hands dirty and create beautiful pieces for your house or gifts such as ceramic vases, plates, cups, etc.
