Durbanville Hills has announced the opening of an engaging, self-guided visitor centre that takes visitors on a captivating journey from the vineyard to the bottle.

Guests are treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the winemaking process while nestled within the maturation cellar, gaining a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship and dedication that go into creating our award-winning wines.
The visitor centre includes an interactive map that highlights the area’s distinctive contours, proximity to the ocean, and location and information on member farms. This knowledge gives visitors a comprehensive view of the cool climate terroir and the area’s distinguishing features. Various displays provide a wealth of information about the various wine ranges, as well as a step-by-step guide to the red and white winemaking processes and maturation, as well as helpful hints on how to properly store your wines at home.

Virtual reality headsets in a central pod transport visitors into the worlds of the flagship Tangram and Collectors Reserve ranges, with each bottle named and visually representing one of Cape Town’s iconic landmarks. Durbanville Hills’ unwavering commitment to sustainability and community and environmental support projects is reflected in a dedicated section of the centre.
The visitor centre is open daily and does not require reservations. Following their immersive journey, guests can choose to savour innovative tastings, dine at the internationally acclaimed Tangram Restaurant, or enjoy a relaxed meal at the Olive Grove, completing their sensory experience at Durbanville Hills.

The visitor centre and tasting rooms are open on the following days:
- Monday: 12pm to 6pm
- Tuesday to Friday: 10am to 6pm
- Saturdays: 10am to 5pm
- Sundays: 11am to 5pm
