Sports fans in Cape Town are in for a treat as the World Athletics Continental Challenger series comes to a close with its final event at Green Point a
Athletics Stadium on Monday.
Athletes from around the world will be competing for a chance to gain World Athletics ranking points and run Championship qualifying times, making for an exciting and high-stakes competition.
The World Athletics Cape Milers Club Endurocad World Continental Challenger series is a three-part series of middle-distance races that has been taking place in Cape Town.
The first two meetings saw elite athletes achieve some of the fastest times recorded on South African soil.
The upcoming finale promises to be even more exciting, with athletes aiming to break records and achieve World Athletics qualifiers.

There is generous prize money on offer for the top five athletes with the highest score on the World Athletics points table, as well as prize money for the top three places in each event who achieve the Athletics South Africa SA Championships standard.
Additional cash prizes are also in place for athletes who break records or achieve specific time barriers.
