As the festive season approaches, Zeitz MOCAA is gearing up for a special family-oriented event – the November Family Learning Workshop: Appreciation Art.
This engaging art-making morning is designed to celebrate the spirit of gratitude by providing an opportunity for families to express their appreciation through art.
Scheduled for Saturday, 25 November, this workshop aims to foster a creative space where both parents and children can explore the language of art together.

The event invites participants to create an artwork that embodies their appreciation for a family member present with them during the workshop. Families will have the freedom to choose the form their art takes, allowing for a wealth of creative expressions.
The Centre for Art Education (CFAE) at Zeitz MOCAA is the spot where these interactive sessions take place. Equipped with materials and resources, the workshop is set up for a lovely time of art creation while ensuring a brief pause for a snack break to recharge creativity.
Children, accompanied by an adult, can join for free. For other attendees, entry costs R250 per person, or it’s free with a museum membership (priced at R390).
