Founded in 2019 by local artist Lisa Nell, events combine painting, wellness, and social contact. Lisa, a self-taught artist with a passion for both art and people, envisioned a space where creativity might thrive in a joyful, friendly setting. ‘I wanted to create a space where people could express themselves artistically,’ Lisa explains.
They provide personalised painting experiences, corporate and private gatherings painting kits.
Depending on the event, attendees are guided through painting, with each session focussing on a different theme or technique, ensuring a unique and interesting experience each time. I’Art supplies all essential materials, including paints, brushes, and canvas.

The appeal of I’Art Sip and Paint goes beyond the artwork. It is a place to unwind and socialise, where people may engage in light-hearted chat and form new friendships. It is a relaxed environment with comfortable chairs and pleasant music that invites guests to let their guard down and enjoy the creative process.
In the future, I’Art hopes to increase community involvement through Sip and Paint activations. We would love to collaborate in this direction.
Lisa’s vision for I’Art is clear: to promote creativity, wellness, community, and connection. ‘We are not just a painting studio; we are a gathering place for individuals to exchange experiences and create lasting memories,’ she explains.
I’Art will be at Jack Black Brewery every first Thursday till the end of the year, as well as hosting a one-of-a-kind paint event at InUWell (Institute of Universal WellCare) at the V&A Waterfront on Saturday, 5 October.
‘This isn’t just another painting class—it’s a revolutionary approach to wellness,’ Lisa explains. ‘We combine the art of painting with mindfulness and relaxation techniques, creating a transformative experience that nurtures both your creative spirit and well-being. Join us for an event that redefines wellness through art, your senses and discover a new way to rejuvenate your mind and soul.’
