As You Like It follows the love story between Rosalind and Orlando, but this performance is anything but ordinary. In this version, one of the actors gets truly baked, while the rest of the sober cast valiantly attempts to keep the show on track.
The result? A comical and unpredictable journey that pushes the boundaries of traditional Shakespearean performances.
The play explores themes of gender identity, feminism and even wrestling. It takes the audience on a wild ride through the Forest of Arden, where the characters seek freedom from the tyrannical rule of Duke Frederick.
Along the way, we witness the deep bond between Rosalind and her cousin Celia, the camaraderie among the banished Duke Senior and his loyal lords and the amusing relationship between Touchstone and Audrey.
