Dr Don Thomas, a former Nasa Astronaut, is in South Africa hosting a series of talks along the Garden Route with Living Maths. We had the pleasure of chatting to him about his four space missions and what it takes to become an astronaut.

Thomas has circled the world almost 700 times, and has the most fascinating stories to tell about the first time he saw the Earth from space.
