Franschhoek Classic Car Festival 2025

The Franschhoek Classic Car Festival returns for its second edition on 4 and 5 October 2025. This popular event will once again transform the village into a showcase of motoring history and design.

On Saturday, the Huguenot Monument will host the heart of the festival. The signature “Forty of the Finest” display will feature forty classic vehicles, each from a different brand. This curated display highlights iconic pre-1990 models.

The Saturday event also includes special tributes. A Ford Perana display, along with anniversary showcases for MG and BMW, will draw collectors and enthusiasts alike. For the first time, selected car clubs and dealerships will also take part, adding to the variety.

Festival-goers can explore the nearby attractions along Huguenot Street. Local restaurants, galleries, and boutiques will be open, as well as the Franschhoek Village Market.

On Sunday, the festival moves to the Franschhoek Motor Museum at L’Ormarins Wine Estate. A featured display will celebrate a major anniversary brand. A special tribute to 75 years of Formula One will include an actual car from a championship-winning team.

Guests will also enjoy updated exhibits at the museum. A highlight will be a tribute to South African F1 World Champion, Jody Scheckter.

For visitors planning a full weekend, the new @Franschhoek Hotel offers a special rate for ticketholders. Located near the former Hey Joe Brewery, the hotel offers countryside charm alongside local craft beer experiences.
