Cape Town Opera’s Block Forest Friends

This July, Cape Town Opera (CTO) is turning libraries into enchanting woodland wonderlands with Opera Blocks: Forest Friends, a charming, interactive show perfect for young audiences.

Running from 1 to 5 July, the 40-minute performances will bring stories to life through song, playful characters, and a sprinkle of theatrical magic.

Children will meet opera singers transformed into whimsical forest creatures, discover hidden surprises among the bookshelves, and even join in the fun as classical melodies weave through the air. More than just entertainment, the production sparks creativity and a love for music in little ones.
