Food Indaba 2025 celebrates Cape Town’s rich food culture

Food Indaba 2025 is a city-wide celebration of Cape Town’s evolving food scene. From 7 to 20 July, a full line-up of events will explore the flavours, stories and ideas that shape the way locals eat, grow and share food.

The programme includes walking food tours in Bellville, Langa and the CBD, interactive workshops for kids, and a conference exploring the role of artificial intelligence in the future of food. It’s a chance to experience Cape Town’s culinary roots while exploring new possibilities in food innovation and sustainability.

Expect hands-on experiences, good food and meaningful conversations in venues across the city.
