JOLTYD – Through The Ages of Music

JOLTYD – Through the Ages of Music, a production by Cape Town’s beloved Loukmaan Adams, will take centre stage at the Baxter’s Pam Golding Theatre from 29 November until 3 January 2025.

The musical celebration, JOLTYD, captures the essence of the festive season in the Mother City, which is filled to the brim with warmth, humour and nostalgic music from the past.

From the electrifying rock ‘n’ roll of the 50s, the smooth Motown grooves, to the local flair of The Rockets and Mafikizolo, the production promises to take spectators on a journey through time.

Expect talents such as Jarrad Ricketts, Loukmaan Adams, Kashifa Blouw, Xolisa Tom, and Mel Jones to bring to magic of music to the forefront.

Jarrad Ricketts will also join the lineup as a celebrated singer-songwriter and performer known for his powerful vocals, as well as Tashreeq de Villiers, a rising star in the South African theatre and music scene.

The house band will be led by acclaimed musical director, Charlton Daniels, who has worked extensively in the South African theatre scene.
