SAAO Night Tour and Stargazing

The South African Astronomical Observatory invites you to an evening of stargazing through telescopes and a night tour of the Phase One Visitors Centre, where you can learn more about the incredible work and plans.

Each Open Night features a presentation on astronomy or physics topics, along with an introduction to the historic McClean telescope, the observatory museum, and the library. On clear nights, guests can enjoy stargazing through telescopes set up for the event.
