Wine, words and wonder return with Stellenbosch Woordfees

Stellenbosch’s biggest arts festival is back, bringing theatre, dance, music, wine and conversation to the town for over a week. The Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees runs across venues around Stellenbosch, with wine-focused programming including Bubbly 101, Cabernet Sauvignon 101 and White Wine 101 at the Hofmeyr Hall, plus a Sauvignon Blanc panel tied to the launch of ‘The Story of South African Sauvignon Blanc’.

Outdoor wine walks, an Animal Welfare Society stand with adoptable dogs, and a street festival on Ryneveld Street round out the programme, alongside close to 400 theatre, comedy, dance and visual art items. See programme here.
