Spending your days enjoying mesmerising ocean views and spectacular sunsets are great and all, but what about a one-of-a-kind view? One that you won’t get anywhere else on Earth. Well, astronauts onboard the International Space Station are able to enjoy some incredible views of Earth daily.
Astronauts are lucky enough to view countless sunrises and sunsets around the world as the Space Station orbits the planet every 90 minutes. Watching cities go from day to night in a matter of minutes and gazing in awe at the blue ocean waters are also on the agenda.
While it may sound like the start of an epic space odyssey, astronauts have also been forced to watch as devastating wildfires wreak havoc around the world, as well as hurricanes like Ida and droughts in the western United States, reports Business Insider.
This has been “sad” and “worrying” for them as they watch it unfold. However, they are sharing some incredible shots from the Space Station. Here’s a look:
