Dan Bilzerian, an American poker player, businessman, social media influencer, and self-proclaimed ladies’ man, is in the Mother City. One of the internet’s more controversial characters, we’re interested to see what he gets up to in our hometown.

The social media superstar has managed to amass a large following on Instagram with 33 million users all waiting with bated breath as he wows the internet with snaps of his lavish lifestyle and thrill-seeking adventures.
His recent antics had social media buzzing after he apparently trolled the internet in July with a wedding photo – a big deal for a man who has fashioned himself an international playboy – and posted a video in August with the caption: “marriage is a trap, stay single.”
A few days later, he shared a snap of himself in Mykonos, Greece, soaking up the sun while surrounded by gorgeous women with an image that sported the caption: “Not married but fat.” A closer look at the comments section of this post revealed his next stop was set to be South Africa.
Well, his Instagram stories have confirmed his arrival. And he’s staying at one of the Mother City’s most sought-after properties: the iconic Iron Man Villa in Clifton.

Cape Town-based, and internationally celebrated photographer and videographer, Aubrey Ndiweni, captures the space beautifully.

This lavish property is located on South Africa’s most expensive road, Nettleton Road, and reportedly costs R300 000 per night.
The architectural masterpiece has been dubbed the Iron Man Villa because it resembles the home of a certain Marvel superhero.
The home is split over four levels and delivers the ultimate luxury experience. Dramatic unobstructed panoramic views of Clifton’s beaches and the Twelve Apostles mountain range are just a few of the incredible features guests have the opportunity to experience.
Nettleton Road is home to at least four homes valued at close to R100-million, according to data from the South African Registrar of Deeds via Propety24. The most expensive listing sold for R290 million in 2016.
