Have you ever wondered what a day in the life is like for others across the world? Well, now you can walk in the shoes of thousands in the new “Life In A Day” feature film, executive produced by famed director Ridley Scott.

The 2020 “Life In A Day” film comes exactly 10 years after the original participatory feature film project that attracted 80 00 submissions. The first film premiered at Sundance in 2011, was released globally in theatres, and has been watched on YouTube over 16-million times.

People the world over were once again invited to pick up their cameras and document what they did on July 25 to tell the story of an ordinary day during these extraordinary times.

They received 324 000 videos from 192 countries, which they edited down to a 90 minute documentary.

From giving birth to healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Life In A Day 2020” project celebrates the importance of everyone coming together in a moment of equal, worldwide collaboration.
