BRAAI FOR HERITAGE AT GRANDE PROVENCE
If you’re at the Franschhoek Uncorked Festival during the Heritage weekend, be sure to join in on a relaxing wine tasting and meat-eating weekend with La Provence.
Taste the selection of their signature labels as well as the easy-drinking Angel Tears Wines and be sure to line your stomach with chef Darren Badenhorst’s braai-inspired meals with a twist – think gourmet braaibroodjies and mini curry lamb potjies bunnies to deboned quail sosaties and a seafood braai choice.
If you’re looking something a little lighter on the stomach, order a pre-packaged lunch basket and enjoy a picnic with the family.
AFRICAN SUSHI AT THE PIANO BAR
If you’re a lover of all things sushi and proudly South African swap out the tuna and salmon for some boerwors and olives.
Not only will the Piano Bar tantalise your taste buds with their ‘African sushi’, but their drink specials on brandy and coke will get you into a festive, heritage mood too.
