Hazendal Wine Estate in Stellenbosch is now home to South Africa’s first modern Wonderdal Edutainment Centre. It is a place full of wonders for children between five and 13 years old which will keep them entertained for hours.

The centre offers a unique immersive atmosphere by combining creatively designed spaces with advanced technological elements to educate children on valuable topics from nutrition to life skills.

A number of interactive experiences are available to stimulate children’s imaginations, creativity and curiosity, while encouraging them to explore, experiment and learn from their surroundings in a playful and fun way.

Wonderdal offers approximately 1 000 m² of indoor and outdoor areas, which makes it an ideal space for an exciting outing no matter the weather outside.

Trained supervisors are always on site guiding and helping eager young adventurers and making sure they are being careful and safe while parents get the chance to sit back and relax at Hazendal Wine Estates culinary and cultural experiences.

Every inch of the indoor space is perfectly designed and laid out to guide learners along a unique and educational journey covering a number of topics, and the weather outside is good an outdoor play area also allows young visitors to get active and challenge themselves physically in a safe environment.

A magical gate called Kora’s Gate is where children enter Wonderdal and after activating their magical bracelets they are lead by their guide Amuki through the amazing course that lies ahead. From the Tree of Light where they can climb and enjoy the light show. Then on to the Tinker Workshop, where they can put their thinking caps on and experiment with energy and circuits. After that they will go to the Wonder Garden, Health Kitchen, Story Cave and so much more.

A visit to Wonderdal is filled with so much to do and see that children will definitely need more than one visit to experience it all.
