While residents of the Mother City look forward to the next few days of lockdown hopefully breezing by, locals are in for more than just a breeze as rain is on the cards for later in the week.
The next three days from April 1 to April 3 will be particularly warm in Cape Town, with Friday [April 3] reaching highs of 27°C. All three days will be sunny, without a cloud in the sky.
On Saturday, April 4, temperatures will dip slightly to a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C with partly cloudy conditions, there is also a 10% chance of precipitation on this day.
Sunday and Monday will usher in some anticipated rainy weather this week. Sunday, April 5 will bring scattered showers throughout the day with a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C. Monday, April 6 will bring similar weather conditions with a high of 16°C and a low of 11°C. Scattered showers are also forecast throughout the day.
At least while we’re in lockdown we won’t have to worry about remembering our umbrellas, instead mark the day on your calendar and enjoy the rain from the comfort of your home.
