Spring is here and there’s a long-awaited public holiday on the cards too. Locals who are looking for a five-star epicurean celebration can now book at the Cellars-Hohenort hotel, who will be hosting a Heritage High Tea from September 24 – 26 2021.
For this special long weekend, the legendary Cellars-Hohenort High Tea will pay homage to our cultural wealth as a nation, with a special nod to South African heritage via a culinary journey that spans all the corners of our beautiful country.
Ideal as a family gathering or celebration among friends, the Heritage High Tea will be served in The Conservatory restaurant, overlooking a magnificent garden and breathtaking views.
The gourmet goodness includes tea and coffee, and a scrumptious sweet and savoury tower of delights. From High Tea classics like mini scones with strawberry jam and Chantilly cream, to traditional Koeksisters, Bhanji chilli bites, Bobotie spring rolls and Cape Malay mini-vetkoek – all the SA favourites are considered in a smorgasbord of flavours for R315 per person.
