A community crime prevention group reported that a vehicle “left the roadway” and went 150m down the embankment on Chapman’s Peak Drive yesterday evening, 5 April.
CCP Medic and responders along with other rescue teams were on the scene.
The latest update at 10pm last night said that “teams have been working long and hard bringing the patient up the steep embankment and have just made it to the roadway. In some places a 45 degree incline! She is doing fine and has moderate injuries but is in good spirits. A big well done to the almost 60 strong crew working this evening!”
