Cotton Fest set to kick off the festive season has just announced the music line-up featuring over 50 of South Africa’s hottest known and emerging Amapiano and Hip-Hop headliners from both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
This follows the much-anticipated announcement that the ever-popular fashion and music festival co-founded by late rapper and fashion icon Riky Rick is spreading its wings, making its way to the Mother City this December.

With over 60% of tickets already sold, it’s bound to be a hip-swaying, toe-tapping event.
This action-packed festival will not only showcase the diversity in South Africa’s much-loved music genres, but will also feature various lifestyle elements existing within the ‘culture’, including fashion, sport, and lifestyle.
Since its inception, Cotton Fest has become much more than simply a music festival. It’s the merging of youth in celebration of South Africa’s new wave of music, fashion, and lifestyle.
The University of Cotton Fest also recently announced the Open Mic Night on social media. This epic opportunity will give one talented emerging Cape Town-based artist a chance to perform at the festival next month.
Leading up to the festival, a Family Day will be taking place on 19 November at the V&A Waterfront’s Battery Park with a series of activities including skateboarding and basketball.
