The cake, entirely vegan, featured a life-sized baby chimpanzee cake topper, paying homage to Dr Goodall’s lifelong dedication to wildlife conservation and advocacy.
Reflecting on the occasion, Charly’s Bakery expressed gratitude for Dr Goodall’s impactful contributions to the world and mentioned the importance of people making a positive difference, echoing Dr Goodall’s own inspiring words.
The celebration extended beyond the cake, as Dr Goodall, a long-time admirer of the late Pigcasso, the artistic pig, visited Farm Sanctuary SA, where Pigcasso used to reside.
Throughout the day, Dr Goodall engaged with guests, sharing stories from her life’s work with chimpanzees in Africa and her passion for conservation.

The event raised significant funds for Jane Goodall’s ROOTS & SHOOTS initiative, furthering her mission of inspiring positive change in the world.
Additionally, a calf named ‘Jane’ was rescued in honour of Dr Goodall’s visit.
