On Saturday, 27 April, a community project will aim to re-wild and restore the local ecosystem at the Apollo Road Park (also known as the Seven Sleepers Park).

The Apollo Park Rewilding Project aims to boost biodiversity and improve the environment for both wildlife and residents.
The 1st Kirstenhof Scouts, the Kirstenhof Crime Watch and the Kirstenhof and Environs Residents’ Association (KERA) invite residents to join them in making a positive impact on the community and the planet.

Activities will start at 8:30am and will include:
- Wildlife habitat restoration
- Dig and plant poles
- Educational talks
Those looking to join are reminded to bring their own spades, sunscreen and hats. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.
Refreshments and light snacks will be on sale.
