Pop sensation and popular actress Miley Cyrus was spotted in Cape Town, taking a leisurely stroll through the V&A Waterfront’s Watershed yesterday afternoon.

Cryrus is known for her hit songs such as ‘wrecking ball’ and featuring in popular series Hannah Montanna, playing the a teenager living a double life of undercover hit singer.

The V&A Waterfront took to social media to share a post by owner of Recycled Flip Flop Sculptures, Davis Ndungu.

Locals were able to snap a candid picture with her while she was at a store in Gardens, PRESENTspace.

It is unclear why she made her way to visit the city but it may be a number of reasons – our sunny weather, the perfect eating spots or the idyllic beaches.

Social media posts show that Miley Cyrus has been in the city for well over a week now.
